But FSS is not just a simple race of Formula Cars. “It is more than a competition, it has a social side. The students share knowledge and experiences” shared Albert Moreno, FSS director. The event pretends to empower the relationship between all the participating teams, with initiatives like the Cultural sharing Dinner, where each team cooks and offers a typical meal from their country to share it with the rest of participants and volunteers, or like the night acceleration event.
Fifteen FSS participating teams came to the presentation, where six of them brought the cars which will compete in august. The teams had the opportunity to attend the afternoon workshops powered by some of Formula Student Spain sponsors such as Gestamp, Bosch, AVL and Mathworks. The workshops gave the teams the opportunity to discover the different companies and also learnt and discussed how they can improve their formula student projects.
