The Automotive Industry Cluster of Catalonia (CIAC) is a non-profit association open to companies operating in the automotive industry, that are based in Catalonia, and pursue R&D+i activities. The Cluster does not rely on any public funding and is financed exclusively through contributions from its associate companies. Over 200 companies linked to the industry have joined the Catalan automotive cluster since it was established.
